Overbed Tables (FURNITURE) (DGS/OTA)

Background
The State of California, through the Department of General Services (DGS), is conducting this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to procure Overbed Tables for the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet).
This acquisition aims to meet the specific needs of CalVet facilities, ensuring that the tables provided comply with established technical and environmental standards.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying Overbed Tables that meet the following specifications:
- Load capacity: Up to 100 lbs.
- Pneumatic cylinder for height adjustment.
- Solid top surface dimensions: Width 29-34 inches, Length 16-20 inches, made from solid, hard, non-porous material.
- Edge design for spill containment and non-tilt support.
- Color options include white, beige, or light brown.
- Base shape: U-shaped with adjustable height from 28 to 45 inches.
- Frame material: Steel with a low-profile style and four rear-locking dual-wheels casters.
Additionally, all tables must have BIFMA level® Certification to comply with environmentally preferable purchasing requirements.

Period of Performance
The delivery of the Overbed Tables must be completed by July 14, 2025, with a final deadline of July 24, 2025.
Timelines may be extended upon mutual agreement between the State and the contractor.

Place of Performance
Delivery is to be made to the California Department of Veterans Affairs located at Yountville Home – SNF Building, 170 California Drive, Building #155, Yountville, CA 94599.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a completed Bidder Declaration Form (GSPD-05-105) and comply with various socio-economic programs including Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) requirements and Small Business Preferences.
Bidders must also submit descriptive literature detailing their proposed products and demonstrate experience in supplying similar items over the past five years.
