Outdoor, Infrared, Motion Activated Cameras

Background
The County of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the procurement of outdoor, infrared, motion-activated cameras. This solicitation is issued by the Internal Services Department to enhance security measures and surveillance capabilities. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality cameras that meet specified performance standards for outdoor use.

Work Details
The contract includes the supply of outdoor, infrared, motion-activated cameras. The specific requirements include:

1. Cameras must be capable of capturing high-resolution images in low-light conditions due to infrared technology.
2. Cameras should have motion detection capabilities to trigger recording and alerts.
3. The quantity of cameras required is four (4).
4. Bidders must provide detailed specifications including brand names and model numbers for the proposed cameras.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by April 22, 2025.

Place of Performance
The cameras are to be delivered to locations specified by the County of Los Angeles within its jurisdiction.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register in the County’s WebVen system prior to submitting a bid. They are required to provide a complete bid package including all necessary documentation as outlined in Appendix A – Purchasing Required Forms. Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal laws regarding business operations and must not have unresolved disallowed costs from previous contracts.
