Background
The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works – Special Districts is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call professional Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) services. This initiative is aimed at supporting various facilities and improvement projects throughout the County, including parks, water districts, sewer districts, and other special districts. The contracts will be awarded based on the quality of proposals received, with no guarantee of minimum work.
Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and evaluation of Best Management Practices (BMP).
2. Assistance with stormwater reporting and compliance reporting.
3. Preparation or review of corrective action plans and SWPPP plans.
4. Conducting site and compliance audits.
5. Installation and maintenance of BMPs.
6. Performing inspections during rain events and sampling.
7. Assisting with permitting applications and filings.
8. Providing training for SWPPP requirements and BMP implementation.
Period of Performance
The contract period will be from February 24, 2026 through June 30, 2030.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed throughout San Bernardino County at various facilities as specified in Exhibit C.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be registered with the California Secretary of State and the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The Project Manager must be a registered civil engineer, land surveyor, or geologist in California with at least five years of experience and proper CASQA certifications.
