Background
The City of San Buenaventura (Ventura) is a coastal community located in California, providing various municipal services including public works and wastewater management. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks to establish a contract for On-Call Manhole Rehabilitation Services to maintain the city's sewer system, which consists of approximately 6,680 manholes. The goal is to ensure the integrity and functionality of these manholes through timely rehabilitation services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide annual rehabilitation services on an as-needed basis for three years, with an option for two additional one-year extensions. The total contract value is expected to be a not-to-exceed amount of $180,000 per year. Services include:

1. Rehabilitation and application of specified coatings within manholes.
2. Removal of debris and roots.
3. Bypass pumping if necessary.
4. Surface preparation including thorough cleaning and water blasting at a minimum of 5,000 psi.
5. Leak repair using chemical grout as needed.
6. Application of a minimum of 150 mils polyurethane coating from floor to top of manholes.
7. Provision of all labor, materials, equipment, and safety measures required for the work.
8. Compliance with CAL-OSHA regulations and maintenance of safety certifications.

Period of Performance
The initial term will commence on July 1, 2025, continuing for three years with options to renew for two additional one-year increments, not exceeding a total of five years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the City of San Buenaventura, California.
