On-Call Engineering And Construction Management Support Services

Background
The San Joaquin County Regional Transit District (RTD) is seeking qualifications from On-Call Engineering and Construction Management firms to provide professional and technical services for construction administration and project inspection on an as-needed basis for various projects in San Joaquin County.
The goal of this contract is to support RTD's mission of enhancing public transit services through effective engineering and construction management.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of services under this contract, including:
- Field surveying
- Environmental clearances (NEPA and CEQA)
- Hydrology studies
- Preparation of plans, specifications, and engineer’s estimate (PS&E)
- Right-of-way engineering coordination
- Utility surveys, relocation plans, and coordination
- Storm drainage engineering
- Roadway engineering
- Construction staking
- Public outreach assistance
- Design support during construction.

Specific projects may include paving improvements, bus stop improvements, HVAC replacements, painting projects, emergency backup generator installations, maintenance shop improvements, security gate projects, and signage projects. Each task order will detail the specific scope of work required.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for 3 years with the possibility of extending up to 2 additional one-year options at RTD's discretion. Task orders will be issued as needed during this period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within San Joaquin County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must possess all necessary licenses, certificates, and registrations in good standing required to perform the work. They must also comply with federal requirements related to disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) and labor code requirements as specified in the contract documents.
