Background
The Department of Water Resources (DWR), part of the California Natural Resources Agency, is responsible for managing the State Water Project (SWP) and ensuring the integrity and functionality of its civil infrastructure.
The DWR's Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) seeks qualified firms to provide on-call civil maintenance engineering services to support their Project Management Office, Civil Maintenance Branch. The goal of this contract is to obtain specialized engineering expertise for condition assessments, evaluations, analyses, and inspections of civil infrastructures associated with the SWP.
Work Details
The services required under this contract include:
1. Condition assessment, review, evaluation, analysis, management, and inspection of O&M’s civil infrastructures related to the SWP.
2. Engineering expertise to fill resource gaps and ensure ongoing integrity and functionality of SWP infrastructure.
Specific deliverables are detailed in Exhibit A, Description of Services. Work may be performed independently or in collaboration with DWR employees as directed by DWR.
Period of Performance
The estimated term for this agreement is from January 14, 2025, through January 13, 2028 (three years), with options for up to two one-year amendments.
Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed in locations associated with the State Water Project within California.
