Olympic Gateway Project

Background
The Olympic Gateway Project is initiated by the Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative (LANI), a non-profit organization, utilizing CRA Excess Bond Proceeds and AB1290 funds.

The project aims to enhance the public space at the intersection of Olympic Blvd. and Normandie Ave. in Koreatown, Los Angeles, through the installation of a significant illuminated structure.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the furnishing and installation of a 50-foot illuminated twisted cable structure. This encompasses all appurtenant work such as demolition and installation of sidewalk, curb, gutter, and asphalt.

Additionally, it includes electrical work and traffic control measures necessary for the project’s execution.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a fixed Notice To Proceed (NTP) and is expected to achieve substantial completion not later than ninety (90) calendar days from the date of commencement.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the intersection of Olympic Blvd. and Normandie Ave., located in Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA.
