The Bidder shall be responsible for ensuring that its Bid reflects any and all Solicitation Addenda issued by the City prior to the Bid due date regardless of when the Bid is submitted. ***END OF UPDATES*** This Invitation for Bids (hereinafter "IFB" or "Solicitation") is being issued by the City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration (hereinafter, "OCA" or "City"). OCA, on behalf of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission ("SFPUC"), is seeking qualified suppliers ("Bidders") to provide Bids for motor repair services (Bids). For complete Solicitation details, carefully review the P-695 IFB document which serves as the Solicitation document.
Background
This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued by the City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration (OCA) on behalf of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). The purpose of this solicitation is to seek qualified suppliers to provide motor repair services. The SFPUC aims to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of its motor systems, which are critical for its utility services.

Work Details
The contract will encompass the following services: inspection, troubleshooting, refurbishing, repairing, and testing of electric motors ranging from 25 to 10,000 horsepower. Bidders must demonstrate experience with motors of at least 900 horsepower. All work must be performed at a facility certified by the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA).

Bidders are required to provide evidence of seven years of experience in motor services within the last ten years. Additionally, bidders must submit a completed Bidder Questionnaire and References along with a Bid Sheet Template as part of their proposal.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is five years, with an option for the City to extend for an additional two years, making a total potential duration of seven years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within a 60-mile radius of the Southeast Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 750 Phelps St., San Francisco, CA 94124.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet several minimum qualifications:
(1) Provide three customer references for similar service contracts;
(2) Submit a completed Bid Sheet Template;
(3) Evidence of seven years' experience in motor servicing;
(4) Work must be performed at an EASA-certified facility;
(5) Facility location must be within a specified radius;
(6) Must be registered with California Department of Industrial Relations for prevailing wage requirements.
