Background
The City and County of San Francisco Office of Contract Administration (OCA), on behalf of the San Francisco Police Department, is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure two new Mercury outboard engines and related services.
The goal is to repower the watercraft SF Marine 2, ensuring that it meets operational requirements for the police department's marine unit.

Work Details
The contract includes the following deliverables:
- one (1) new Mercury 250XL outboard engine,
- one (1) new Mercury 250CXL outboard engine,
- associated Mercury Marine components and parts.
Additionally, labor and services are required to repower the watercraft SF Marine 2 according to the specifications outlined in Appendix A of the City’s Purchase Order Terms.
Bidders must ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the goods/services solicited, including adherence to green purchasing requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the bid evaluation process.
The bid due date is October 31, 2024, at 2:30 PM (PT).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a facility located no more than 80 miles by land from 766 Vallejo Street, San Francisco, CA 94133, which is designated as the SFPD Marine Unit.
