Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Phase 7

Background
The City of Rancho Cordova is seeking competitive bids for the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Phase 7. The program aims to enhance traffic safety and management within the city, specifically targeting areas that require improvements in traffic flow and pedestrian safety.

The estimated construction cost for this project is $257,000.

Work Details
The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to construct:
- Traffic calming bulb-outs
- A traffic circle
- Crosswalks
- Curb ramps
- Traffic signs
- Drainage inlet relocation
- Miscellaneous curb, gutter, sidewalk, and pavement striping.

These improvements are to be executed along Bridlewood Drive from Zinfandel Drive to Cobblestone Drive as detailed in the Special Provisions or as designated by the Engineer.

Period of Performance
The time for completion of this contract shall be Fifty (50) Working Days from the date of issuance as stated in the Notice to Proceed by the City.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for the performance of this contract is Bridlewood Drive from Zinfandel Drive to Cobblestone Drive in Rancho Cordova, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid California contractor's license classified as a General Engineering Contractor, Class A. Additionally, contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work.

The successful bidder will also need to provide a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
