Background

4. Title searches that may require in-person searches at county recorder’s offices.
5. Services must be completed within 30 to 90 days, depending on requirements for reconveyance documents.
6. Handling various types of deeds, including grants, easements, and quitclaim deeds, with specific recording duties for Caltrans-created deeds.
7. Expedited services for Title Reports or Litigation Guarantees as needed, with required documentation submitted within specified timeframes.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Title and Escrow license issued by the California Department of Insurance at the time of bid submission and throughout the contract duration. Bidders are encouraged to participate in small business programs, with a goal of at least 25% participation from certified Small Businesses (SB) or Micro Businesses (MB). While Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation is not mandatory, it is encouraged with applicable incentives.
