Mold Remediation Services

Background
The County of Orange, Sheriff-Coroner, is seeking competitive bids from qualified vendors for Mold Remediation Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective mold remediation in accordance with the County's requirements. The awarded contract will be established between the County and the selected contractor, adhering to specified terms and conditions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive mold remediation services as outlined in Attachment A - Scope of Work. This includes identifying mold presence, assessing damage, implementing remediation strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing documentation of work completed.

The contractor must also adhere to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Tool Control Policy as specified in Exhibit I. All services must be performed in a professional manner and meet the standards set forth by applicable laws and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue for three (3) calendar years, with an option for mutual renewal for an additional two (2) years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Orange County as designated by the Sheriff-Coroner's office.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all federal and state laws regarding employment eligibility verification. Contractors must not be debarred or proposed for debarment by any federal agency. Additionally, contractors are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage as detailed in the contract provisions, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and pollution liability insurance.
