Background
The County of Orange, Sheriff-Coroner is seeking competitive bids for Mold Remediation Services to address various facilities requiring inspection, testing, cleaning, repairs, and remediation of mold and other contaminants.
The goal is to ensure compliance with County standards as well as state and federal regulations.
Work Details
The contractor will provide services including but not limited to: inspection, assessment, testing, containment, removal, corrective repairs, alterations, replacement, cleanup, moisture control, drying, verification, documentation, tagging, record keeping, certification and reporting on mold and other pollutants.
The contractor must also ensure compliance with EPA Mold Remediation Guidelines and ANSI/IICRC S520 standards.
Emergency services must be available 24/7. All work must be performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will remain valid for a period of 365 days from the closing date of the solicitation.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at any current or future facility maintained by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess current applicable licenses (e.g., Contractor Class B or C-22), certifications (IICRC Certification), and permits required by state and federal laws.
Bidders must also comply with the Local Small Business (OCLSB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) certification requirements if applicable.
