Meadowview Rollup Door Service and Repair - Sacramento

Background
The State of California, through the Office of the Adjutant General, is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Meadowview Rollup Door Service and Repair project located at Meadowview Armory, 3250 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of rollup doors at the facility to support its operational readiness.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and fees necessary for the service and repair of rollup doors. This includes professional services, tools, disposal needs, insurance, and any other requirements as outlined in the Scope of Work.

The contractor must possess a current California License Board issued D-28 Doors & Gates and Activating Device license and may utilize a C-10 Electrical subcontractor. A B-General Contractor Licensee may also have D-28 and C-10 subcontractors. All work must comply with the terms and conditions specified in this IFB.

Period of Performance
The contractor will be allowed 180 calendar days to complete this project. The start date will be established by a Job Start Meeting within 7 days after receipt of the fully executed contract and issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Meadowview Armory located at 3250 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832.

Bidder Requirements
Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk on May 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the project site. Bidders are required to submit proposals based solely on provided contract documents.

All prime contractors must self-perform at least 20% of the total work. Bidders must also comply with DVBE participation goals by subcontracting a minimum of 5% to certified Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBEs). Additionally, bidders must provide proof of their licenses and certifications as required.
