Management, Operation, And Maintenance Of El Cariso Golf Course Lakewood Country Club And Tennis Center Victoria Golf Course

Background
The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the management, operation, and maintenance of the El Cariso Golf Course, Lakewood Country Club and Tennis Center, and Victoria Golf Course.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective management and upkeep of these facilities to enhance community access to recreational opportunities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services at the Victoria Golf Course:
- Management of an 18-hole championship golf course that includes amenities such as a coffee shop, community room, driving range with night lights, cart storage facility, practice pitching area, practice putting greens, and pro shop.
- Maintenance of the golf course covering approximately 172 acres including turf management (greens with Poa and Bent grass; tees with Kikuyu and Rye grass; fairways with Kikuyu), irrigation system management (Toro system), and upkeep of various facilities including a maintenance building.
- Operation of food and beverage services including a coffee shop with a kitchen.
- Management of golf carts (60 available) and provision of golf lessons.
- Oversight of financial operations including rent percentages from food & beverage sales, liquor sales, merchandise sales, cart rentals, green fees, etc., as detailed in financial appendices.
