The San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Managed IT Services (Services), as further detailed in Section 3, Scope of Services. If approved by SJCOG's Board of Directors, or designee, the successful Proposer will execute an agreement for a five (5) years base term with two (2) one year option terms. SJCOG currently has roughly 38 staff members. SJCOG has a hybrid/remote work schedules. The selected Proposer will provide interdepartmental IT-managed services across the organization.
Background
The San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG) is the planning, financing, and coordinating agency for the San Joaquin region, overseeing transportation, housing, and habitat conservation. SJCOG is a joint-powers authority with a board of directors comprised of elected representatives from various cities and counties. The organization manages programs that support local transportation resources and affordable housing. They are seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Managed IT Services to enhance their IT infrastructure and support their hybrid work environment.
Work Details
The selected Proposer will provide a range of Managed IT Services including:
1. Workstation and Remote Device Support: Support for both Windows and Mac environments, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support during a transition to Mac devices.
2. Helpdesk Support: Available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM for IT-related issues.
3. Remote Support: Utilizing remote access tools for diagnosing and fixing issues without onsite intervention.
4. Onsite Support: For hardware repairs or complex troubleshooting during business hours.
5. Continuous Inventory Management: Maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT assets.
6. Cloud-Based Printing Management: Configuring and maintaining cloud printing solutions.
7. SaaS Remote Desktop Solutions: Providing access to virtual desktops as needed.
8. Continuous Network Monitoring: Proactively monitoring network health to prevent disruptions.
9. Incident Response Management: Coordinating responses to incidents with defined response times.
10. Server Backups (Local and Cloud): Managing backup activities for files and servers.
11. M365 SaaS Backup: Ensuring Microsoft 365 data is backed up as part of managed services.
12. Configuration Management: Overseeing system configurations for compliance and documentation.
13. Security Measures: Implementing spam protection, advanced endpoint protection, firewall management, and conducting security awareness training.
Period of Performance
The contract will have a base term of five (5) years with two (2) one-year option terms.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at SJCOG's three-story building located in Stockton, California.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be able to respond onsite within one hour of notification or ticket being opened and must be located within 50 miles of SJCOG. All services must be performed by vendor employees only; subcontractors are not permitted.
