Background
The City of Pasadena, California, through its Information Technology Department, is seeking proposals for a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service. Work Details

- **Co-Managed Visibility and Access**: City cybersecurity personnel will have real-time access to data and tools used by the vendor.

- **Detection Engineering and Tuning**: Continuous refinement of detection rules and automated response playbooks tailored to the City’s environment.

- **Incident Response Support**: Deep-dive investigations including root cause analysis on an as-needed basis.

- **Operational Reporting**: Regular reports with actionable insights for improving security posture.

- **Documentation**: Maintain up-to-date documentation of all configurations and provide knowledge transfer to City staff. The initial scope focuses on endpoint protection with future expansion capabilities for identity, network, and infrastructure logs integration.
