Maintenance and Repair Services of the ANGI Natural Gas Compressor Station in San Bernardino County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #08A3824 for Maintenance and Repair Services of the ANGI Natural Gas Compressor Station located in San Bernardino County. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the operational integrity and reliability of the ANGI Natural Gas Compressor Station Model NG50E, which is essential for supporting Caltrans' mission to provide a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, tools, parts, materials, equipment, travel, incidentals, and pay all associated disposal fees, costs, and taxes necessary to provide preventative maintenance services and repairs for the ANGI Natural Gas Compressor Station Model NG50E. Specific tasks include:

1) Monthly Routine Physical Inspections (36 each)
2) Quarterly Routine Physical Inspections (12 each)
3) Annual Routine Physical Inspection and Maintenance (3 each)
4) Non-Routine Repairs (12 each).

All services must adhere to manufacturer guidelines as outlined in STD 213, Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later. The contract will expire on June 30, 2028 (estimate). Routine services are to be performed during standard hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the District 08 Magana/Ortega Maintenance Station located at 451 West Slover Avenue, Bloomington, CA 92316.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at the time of bid submission. They must also hold a valid Class A or Class B contractor's license appropriate for the work. Bidders should have a minimum of three years of direct experience in maintaining CNG fueling facilities. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to participate in small business programs but are not required to meet specific DVBE participation requirements.
