Main Street Bike and Pedestrian Improvements Project

The City of Escalon is seeking sealed bids for the Main Street Bike and Pedestrian Improvements Project. The work under this contract involves the installation of sidewalk and enhancements to bike and pedestrian safety along Main Street. Specific improvements include the addition of ADA curb ramps, upgraded striping, concrete bulb outs at the intersections with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Streets, and bike lane striping south of these intersections. Additionally, the project includes frontage improvements at the Escalon Branch of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library. The anticipated start date for the work is December 8, 2025. The engineer's estimate for the project is $1,600,000. The City of Escalon is the requesting agency for this solicitation. Bidders must be prequalified to participate.
