Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for the installation of a lobby enclosure and ballistic glass at their Redding Area office. This project aims to enhance security measures at the facility, aligning with CHP's mission to ensure public safety and effective law enforcement.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing Lobby Enclosure and Ballistic Glass Installation Services as detailed in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work.' This includes all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the installation. The work must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage requirements.

Bidders must possess a valid General B California Contractor’s State License and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Additionally, bidders are required to complete and submit a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Reporting and Factsheet (STD 1000).

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from December 1, 2024, through November 30, 2025. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the CHP Redding Area office located at 2503 Cascade Blvd., Redding, CA 96003.
