Background
The County of Mendocino, through its Department of Transportation, is issuing a contract for the rehabilitation of the Aircraft Parking Apron at Little River Airport. This project is funded under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP No. 3-06-0121-017-2023).
The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and functionality of the airport's parking apron area.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Removal of existing apron asphalt concrete pavement
- Removal of existing tie-down anchors and chains
- Construction of new asphalt concrete pavement
- Construction of new concrete valley gutters
- Replacement of joint sealant on existing concrete pavement
- Installation of new tie-down anchors
- Application of new pavement markings.
The engineer’s cost estimate for this project is $1,952,000.
