Description

Background
The City of Manhattan Beach is seeking proposals for a Mobile License Plate Recognition (LPR) System to enhance its public safety and operational efficiency. The City aims to identify solutions that meet current and future needs, intending to purchase five LPR units with an option for additional units during the contract term. The successful contractor will be expected to provide both hardware and software, along with all related services as outlined in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following:

1) Five Mobile License Plate Recognition (LPR) units;
2) All necessary hardware and software;
3) Technical Compliance Matrix (TCM) response indicating compliance with specifications;
4) A virtual demonstration of the LPR system for shortlisted contractors;
5) Completion of the attached Pricing Workbook detailing all fees associated with the RFP requirements. Any additional costs must be included in designated categories on the pricing workbook, with no extra lines or entries allowed.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to continue through the duration specified in the agreement, with proposals due by January 9, 2026.

The services will be performed within the City of Manhattan Beach, California.
