Description

The University of California, Santa Cruz, is soliciting a written response from qualified firms to provide LEED Administration services on UC Santa Cruz Student Housing West - Phase 2 Heller Development, Project #4204. This phase of the project will deliver approximately 1,200 beds for continuing upper division undergraduate students on approximately 13-acres near the West campus entrance. Under a design build project delivery model, the scope of services for the LEED Administration is to review, assist, monitor and document the targeted LEED Gold certification starting with the University s Master Architect team s deliverables and continue to coordinate, track, review and log documentation for the University s and their Design Builder.
Background
The University of California, Santa Cruz (UC Santa Cruz) is seeking qualified firms to provide LEED Administration services for the Student Housing West - Phase 2 Heller Development, Project #4204. This project aims to deliver approximately 1,200 beds for continuing upper division undergraduate students on a 13-acre site near the West campus entrance. The goal is to achieve targeted LEED Gold certification through effective coordination and documentation of the project’s sustainability efforts.

Work Details
The scope of services includes reviewing, assisting, monitoring, and documenting the LEED certification process. This will start with the deliverables from the University’s Master Architect team and will involve ongoing coordination, tracking, reviewing, and logging documentation for both the University and their Design Builder. The consulting services will be provided under the University of California’s Professional Services Agreement (PSA). A full listing of potential services can be found in the RFQ.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the Agreement is three (3) years, with the possibility of extending for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at UC Santa Cruz, specifically at the Student Housing West - Phase 2 Heller Development site.
