Lead-Based Paint and other Environmental Testing Services

Work Requested:
The City of Fontana is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide lead-based paint and other environmental testing services. The selected Bidder will be responsible for conducting these testing services in support of the City's U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Grant Funding contracts.

Background:
The City is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local requirements mandating competitive bidding for environmental testing services. The testing services are a necessary component of the City's participation in HUD and HCD grant-funded programs.

Contract Requirements:

• The successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement with the City of Fontana for a one-year term.
• The City reserves the option to renew the Agreement for up to four (4) additional one-year terms, contingent upon continued funding.
