LAUSD Best Value 2610053 Chatsworth EEC (Re-Bid) - New Early Education in an Existing School (PSA)

Background
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is issuing this solicitation for the construction of a New Early Education Center at the existing Chatsworth Early Education Center located at 10017 N. Lurline Ave., Chatsworth, CA 91311. The goal of this contract is to enhance early education facilities within the district, aligning with LAUSD's mission to provide quality education and support for young learners.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of a New Early Education Center within an existing school structure. The contractor must hold a valid B – General Building Contractor license and comply with all applicable safety standards. Additionally, any prime contractor self-performing specialty trades must possess the required specialty licenses. MEP subcontractors must be prequalified by the OWNER and hold appropriate licenses (A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46) as mandated by the Contractors’ State License Board.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence following the bid award and will continue until project completion as outlined in the RFQ documents. Specific timelines will be detailed in the awarded contract.

Bidder Requirements
