Background
The Judicial Council of California, chaired by the Chief Justice of California, is the chief policy-making agency of the California judicial system. The Council aims to improve the administration of justice by surveying judicial business and recommending improvements to the courts.
This RFP seeks proposals from hotels for sleeping rooms for the Judicial Council's 100th Anniversary program.
Work Details
The selected hotel or conference center will provide sleeping rooms for the Judicial Council's 100th Anniversary program scheduled for December 10, 2026. The preferred locations for accommodations are:
1) Union Square,
2) Lower Nob Hill,
3) Japantown,
4) Fisherman's Wharf.
The budgeted sleeping room unit rate is $272.00 or the best available rate. The Judicial Council will not pay for any resort fees, urban fees, or destination fees. All quoted rates must be net and non-commissionable.
Period of Performance
The contract period will begin on April 27, 2026, and end on December 11, 2026.
Place of Performance
San Francisco, California, specifically in Union Square, Lower Nob Hill, Japantown, or Fisherman's Wharf.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including obtaining necessary licenses and permits. They must also submit a completed Darfur Contracting Act Certification and General Certifications Form with their proposal.
The contractor shall not subcontract more than ten percent (10%) of the contract amount to any single subcontractor without written consent from the Judicial Council.
