Janitorial Services in Sacramento County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #56A0820 for Janitorial Services in Sacramento County. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all facilities under Caltrans jurisdiction are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, supporting the agency's mission to provide a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, user materials, cleaning supplies, and equipment necessary to provide janitorial services. Specific services include:

1) Daily custodial/janitorial services as per the schedule set forth in Standard Agreement STD 213, Attachment 2;

2) Weekly custodial/janitorial services performed once per week;

3) Weekly custodial/janitorial services performed three times per week;

4) Quarterly custodial/janitorial services as outlined in Attachment 2.

The contractor must comply with the blended rates for wages and benefits as specified by CalHR.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue for a period specified in the final agreement. All performance must be completed on or before the termination date outlined in the agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within Sacramento County as designated by Caltrans.
