Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for janitorial services at the Fort Bragg Resident Post. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive janitorial services as detailed in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work.' The contractor must perform at least 75% of the work with their own staff; no more than 25% can be subcontracted.

The contract is expected to commence on January 1, 2026, and will run through December 31, 2026. There is an option for a one-year extension based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

The services will be performed at the Fort Bragg Resident Post located at 925 B N. Franklin Street, Fort Bragg, CA 95437.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid local business license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) under the Property Services Workers Protection Act. They must also demonstrate a history of sound business integrity and responsiveness to contractual obligations.

Proof of liability insurance meeting specified requirements must be provided before contract execution. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to participate in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) programs; however, participation requirements have been waived for this solicitation.
