Janitorial Services for Sutter Court

Background
The Superior Court of California, County of Sutter is seeking proposals for janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in its facilities. The Court aims to engage well-qualified Proposers who can demonstrate their capability to provide the required services effectively. This solicitation is part of the Court's commitment to uphold a clean and safe environment for its staff and the public.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services at the Superior Court of California, County of Sutter Courthouse located at 1175 Civic Center Blvd., Yuba City, CA 95993, covering an area of 73,853 square feet. Services include:

- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of all restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and surfaces.
- Routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and removing trash.

Specific tasks include:
- Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals (5 days/week)
- Sweep and mop floors in restrooms (5 days/week)
- Clean and disinfect doorknobs and high-touch areas (5 days/week)
- Thoroughly vacuum all areas including Jury Assembly Room (2 days/week)
- Dust wood surfaces in offices (1 day/week)

The contractor must use approved cleaning agents that meet federal, state, and local guidelines. All supplies will be provided by the Court.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a duration of three years with options for two one-year renewals.

Services will be performed at the Superior Court of California, County of Sutter Courthouse located at 1175 Civic Center Blvd., Yuba City, CA 95993.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must have at least five consecutive years of documented experience providing similar janitorial services. They must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for Janitorial Services. Insurance coverage as specified by the Court's Standard Business requirements is mandatory. Additionally, Proposers must submit all required forms electronically on the Court’s Online Procurement Website.
