Background
The San Mateo County Human Services Agency (HSA) is responsible for administering various federal, state, and county-funded programs aimed at protecting vulnerable residents and providing essential services.

The HSA's Business Systems Group (BSG) provides IT services including application support, development, data analytics, and help desk services. This contract aims to secure temporary IT staffing solutions to meet the short-term staffing needs of the County.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide temporary contingency staffing professionals as needed for the County's IT requirements. The positions include Full Stack Application Developer, Software Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, Application Support Analyst, Project Manager, and Reporting Data Analyst.

Responsibilities include managing staffing requests through a designated point of contact (POC), responding to staffing requests within 72 hours, conducting background checks on candidates, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing semi-monthly time tracking reports. The Contractor must also ensure that all contingent staff are oriented to the County's work environment and comply with all applicable laws.

Period of Performance
The term of this Agreement shall commence on a date specified in the contract and continue until the completion of services or until terminated by either party with appropriate notice.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at locations designated by San Mateo County within California.

Bidder Requirements
Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws including those related to employment practices. The Contractor is required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Additionally, the Contractor must not assign or subcontract any part of this Agreement without prior written consent from the County.
