Description

Scope of Work Requested:
The City is seeking a contractor to perform comprehensive renovations and improvements at multiple restroom facilities within National City, CA. The work includes:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (140 E. 12th Street): Complete renovation of the two existing restrooms (men's and women's) off the lobby. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement or installation of tile, countertops, plumbing fixtures, ceiling, lighting, partitions, and paint.

  • Kimball Park General Restrooms: Removal and replacement of outdoor sinks, exterior doors and locking mechanisms, toilets, toilet paper holders; application of anti-graffiti coating paint; installation of restroom signage; and replacement of interior and exterior light fixtures.

  • Kimball Park Restrooms Near Playground: Removal and replacement of outdoor sinks, exterior doors and locking mechanisms, toilets, toilet paper holders, baby changing station; application of anti-graffiti coating paint; installation of restroom signage; and replacement of interior and exterior light fixtures.

  • Kimball Park Restrooms Along A Avenue: Removal and replacement of toilets, toilet paper holders, sinks, baby changing station; application of anti-graffiti coating paint; installation of restroom signage.

  • Las Palmas Park Pool Restrooms (1800 E. 22nd Street): Full renovation and ADA compliance update of one existing restroom adjacent to the office area. Clean, patch, and paint men's and women's restrooms at the Las Palmas Pool Building.

  • National City Library (1401 National City Blvd): Removal and disposal of existing partitions and installation of new partitions within the four existing restrooms.

This solicitation is issued by the City of National City, CA.

The City is undertaking these restroom improvement projects to upgrade and modernize public facilities at Kimball Park, Las Palmas Park, the National City Library, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center.
