Imperial Dam Concrete Repairs 2026

Work Requested:

The Imperial Irrigation District (IID) is seeking proposals from highly qualified respondents for the repair of concrete structures at various locations on the Imperial Dam and All American Structures. The specific areas and repairs to be completed include:

• All American Canal Headworks Main Bridge (Phase 2)
• Pilot Knob Check (Southwest apron)

Who is Requesting:

This solicitation is issued by the Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq. IID provides non-potable water, farm drainage, and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert.

Background:

This project has been initiated to address necessary repairs to concrete structures located on the Imperial Dam and associated All American Structures. The repairs are essential to maintain the integrity and functionality of these critical water management infrastructures.

Contract Requirements:

• Attendance at a mandatory meeting and jobwalk is required for all prospective respondents. This will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. (Local Time) at IID's Imperial Dam Village Conference Room, 2400 Imperial Road, Winterhaven, CA 92283.
• Firms must confirm attendance with Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email at purchasing@iid.com.
• Only those who attend and sign in prior to the official start of the mandatory meeting will be eligible to submit a proposal. Late arrivals or those who do not attend the entire meeting will not be credited with attendance and will not be allowed to submit a proposal.

• Questions regarding this Primary Request for Proposal must be submitted in writing to Mr. Marty P. Holbrook, purchasing agent, no later than 5:00 p.m. (Local Time), Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
