This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. CalOptima is seeking information pertaining to these services for a future RFP. Please see the attached document in the "Document" section and respond to the inquiry with any information that would be helpful. Thank you.
Background
CalOptima is seeking information regarding imaging and archiving services for future procurement. The agency aims to enhance its document imaging capabilities, particularly for processing medical claims forms. This initiative aligns with their mission to improve healthcare services through efficient data management and retrieval systems.

Work Details
The contract will involve providing document imaging solutions that include:
- Core document imaging solutions with detailed descriptions of components and additional modules.
- Online retrieval of document images, including keyword search capabilities and download formats.
- Data lifting from standard and non-standard forms into usable data streams for external systems, with specified output formats (e.g., 837i, 837p, XML).
- Processing of paper medical claims forms into electronic files for integration with the Trizetto’s Facets billing system.
- Mailroom services encompassing mail pickup, opening, scanning, indexing, and storage.
- Quality assurance checks throughout the imaging process with auditing and reporting mechanisms.
- IT disaster recovery plans and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect personal health information (PHI).

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at CalOptima's facilities or other designated locations as required.
