IFPQ Roofing Services, San Bernardino County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking contractors to provide roofing replacement services at the Banning Maintenance Station and employee housing in San Bernardino County. This contract is authorized under Government Code Section 14838.7, which allows for the award of public works contracts to certified small businesses, including micro businesses and disabled veteran business enterprises.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, parts, travel, and incidentals necessary for roofing replacement services. Specifically, the work includes removing existing roofs and replacing them at the Cajon Maintenance Station Repair Shop and Cinder Storage with 80 Mil PTO and ½ inch Securock as per STD 213.

Additional non-routine labor for roofing repair at the Riverside Maintenance Station is also required. The estimated quantities include 1 lump sum for roof replacement and up to 100 hours for non-routine labor.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution of the agreement and must be completed by the expiration date specified in the agreement. Key dates include an optional pre-bid site inspection on December 12, 2024, with final quotes due by December 19, 2024.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Cajon Maintenance Station located at 14757 State Highway 138 West Cajon Valley, CA 92371 and at the Riverside Maintenance Station.
