IFB Trash Services, San Bernardino County

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #08A3796 for trash services in San Bernardino County.
The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the terms and conditions under which the Contractor will provide necessary trash collection, hauling, and disposal services to Caltrans.
This initiative aims to ensure effective waste management in support of Caltrans' mission to maintain a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, trash bins, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary for on-call trash collection, hauling, and disposal services.
Specific tasks include:
1. Collection, hauling, and disposal services of a 5 cubic yard bin at the Burnt Mill Maintenance Station (156 bins).
2. Collection, hauling, and disposal services of a 5 cubic yard bin at the Dry Creek Maintenance Station (156 bins).
3. Collection, hauling, and disposal services of a 5 cubic yard bin at the Fawnskin Maintenance Station (156 bins).
All associated costs including disposal fees and taxes must be covered by the Contractor.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to continue as needed based on service requirements until terminated or completed as per the terms outlined in the Agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various maintenance stations located in San Bernardino County, California.
