IFB SD#24-00041 Dental Autoclave Spore Testing Services

Background
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) require Dental Autoclave Spore Testing Services to ensure compliance with health standards in correctional facilities.
The goal of this contract is to provide necessary testing services across various CDCR/CCHCS locations as outlined in the Sample Contract.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment, and any other expenses necessary for Dental Autoclave Spore Testing Services.
This includes processing at least 340 samples weekly from CDCR/CCHCS institutions.
The services must comply with FDA Quality Assurance regulations and involve the use of Biological Indicators of G. stearothermophilus spores or equivalent.
Weekly service includes spore testing and prepaid shipping for samples.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2025 (or upon approval, whichever is later) and will continue through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various CDCR/CCHCS locations as specified in Exhibit A-2 - List of Participating Institutions.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific qualifications including: possession of Biological Indicators of G. stearothermophilus spores; compliance with FDA regulations; five years of experience in biological monitoring services; ability to process a minimum of 340 samples weekly; active status with the California Secretary of State's Office or valid business license for sole proprietors; and provision of three positive references for similar services within the last five years.
