Background
The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) is soliciting bids for Backup Instant Coffee Packaging Services to support its coffee roasting enterprise at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California. This initiative aims to enhance the operational efficiency of CALCTRA's coffee production and distribution efforts.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Backup Instant Coffee Packaging Services, which include:

1. Picking up instant coffee from the CALCTRA warehouse at Mule Creek State Prison.
2. Packaging services for both regular caffeinated and decaffeinated instant coffee, with each packet weighing 1.5 grams.
3. Providing packaging boxes for the coffee products.
4. Each case will contain 1,000 individual packets of instant coffee.
5. Marking each finished packaged case with the CALCTRA item number and packaging date.
6. Returning the finished cases of instant coffee to the CALCTRA warehouse.

Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to be one (1) year, with an option to extend for an additional one (1) year.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Mule Creek State Prison located at 4001 Highway 104, Ione, CA 95640.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing similar services and must submit references from three (3) similar projects completed within the last three years. Additionally, bidders must provide all required licenses and permits as determined by their place of business. Compliance with Executive Orders regarding economic sanctions and generative artificial intelligence is also required.
