Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, traffic control, travel, and incidentals necessary to collect, remove and recycle all scrap metal and scrap aluminum on an on-call basis to Caltrans as described herein and pay Caltrans the amount owed for the scrap metal according to the Caltrans Revenue Payment formula and Contractor s Competitive Percentage set forth in Bid Proposal, Attachment 1. Bidder shall possess at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current Motor Carrier Permit issued from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Caltrans will verify bidder s Motor Carrier Permit. Contractor shall provide a copy at bid submittal.
Background

Work Details

Additionally, the contractor is responsible for complying with SB 1383 regarding organic waste recycling if applicable.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all services are completed or terminated as per the terms outlined in the agreement.

Specific timelines for bid submission are set: bids are due by December 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with a bid opening scheduled for the same day at 2:30 p.m.
