Background
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 25C535001 for Protective Clothing & Operational Supplies Rental Services. The CHP's mission is to provide safety, service, and security to the public. This solicitation aims to procure rental services for protective clothing and operational supplies necessary for the CHP's operations in the East Los Angeles Area Office.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental services for protective clothing and operational supplies as detailed in Exhibit A entitled 'Scope of Work' included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. The CHP intends to award a single agreement to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid. Bidders must address all services described in Exhibit A.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the resulting agreement is from May 1, 2026, through May 31, 2029. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the CHP East Los Angeles Area Office located at 601 North 7th Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Local City or County Business License and certify they are in good standing with California's Secretary of State. Nonprofit organizations must provide IRS determination letters indicating nonprofit status. Proof of liability insurance meeting specified requirements must be provided before contract execution. Additionally, all personnel assigned to the contract will undergo a driver license check prior to accessing CHP facilities.
