IFB No. 114960 Monthly Boiler and Chiller Chemical Treatment Maintenance and Annual Cleaning Services

Background
The Employment Development Department (EDD) of California is seeking bids for Monthly Boiler and Chiller Chemical Treatment Maintenance and Annual Cleaning Services at its facilities located at 745 Franklin Street, San Francisco, CA 94102, and 297 W. Hedding Street, San Jose, CA 95110.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and cleaning of the boiler and chiller systems to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
- Monthly chemical treatment maintenance for all chiller loops and boiler systems at both EDD locations.
- Annual cleaning of the systems.
- Inspections pertaining to chemical treatment services.
- Consultation on best methods for achieving intended results.
- Completion of chemical treatment and cleaning work orders as provided by the EDD Representative.
- Identification and reporting of any safety hazards or faulty equipment encountered during work.

All work must comply with applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances. The contractor must have a valid General B State Contractor’s License.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on December 1, 2025, and will continue through November 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at two EDD facilities located at 745 Franklin Street, San Francisco, CA 94102, and 297 W. Hedding Street, San Jose, CA 95110.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid General B State Contractor’s License. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation requirements are waived for this IFB. Bidders must submit a Bidder Declaration GSPD-05-105 with their bid response.
