IFB No. 107733 "As Needed" Maintenance and Repair Services

Background
The Employment Development Department (EDD) of California is issuing Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 107733 for 'As Needed' Maintenance and Repair Services at their facility located at 409 K Street, Eureka, CA 95501.

The contract aims to ensure the facility is maintained and repaired as necessary, particularly during times when EDD maintenance personnel are unavailable. The contract period spans from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027.

Work Details
The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services including but not limited to: inspections related to repair work orders; consultation on methods to achieve intended results; completion of maintenance/repair work orders; minor emergency repairs; and identification and reporting of safety hazards or faulty equipment.

Specific tasks may include:
- Miscellaneous painting (interior/exterior)
- Ceiling tile replacement
- Minor carpet installation
- Seasonal roof cleaning
- Gutter and drain cleaning
- Power washing building exteriors
- Wall patching and repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Mechanical door repairs

All work must comply with applicable building codes and regulations. The contractor must have a valid General B State Contractor’s License.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027.
