Description

Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) demolition and clearance services, hazardous material abatement services, asbestos/lead paint abatement services and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)/Water Pollution Control Program (WPCP) services and implementation of said Plan/Program. Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #06A3123 for demolition and clearance services across Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, and Tulare Counties.

The goal of this contract is to provide essential services that align with Caltrans' mission to ensure a safe and efficient transportation system in California. This includes the removal of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, traffic control, travel, permits, and incidentals necessary to provide the following services:

1. Demolition and clearance services as specified in the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A.
2. Hazardous material abatement services including asbestos and lead paint abatement.
3. Implementation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Water Pollution Control Program (WPCP).

The contractor must also ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws as applicable.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last until all services are completed as per the terms outlined in the agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, and Tulare Counties in California.
