IFB # C24-32694 In-Person American Sign Language Interpreting Services in San Jose District.

Background
The State of California, through the Department of Rehabilitation, is seeking In-Person American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting Services for the San Jose District and Branch Offices. The solicitation includes the Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) Incentive.

Work Details
The contractor will provide current RID and/or RID-NAD certified Sign Language Interpreters on an 'as-needed' basis to meet the needs of the DOR San Jose staff. The services required are detailed in Exhibit A.1, and locations are listed in Exhibit F. The contractor must comply with bidder minimum qualifications, including being licensed to do business in California, providing proof of insurance, submitting two letters of reference, and providing a complete list of current RID and/or RID-NAD Certified American Sign Language Interpreter(s) who will provide services to DOR under the awarded contract.
The contract will be based on the lowest total hourly rate for In-Person ASL Interpreting Services.

Period of Performance
The anticipated budget is approximately $100,000.00 for a contract term from April 1, 2024, or Upon Approval through March 31, 2026. The contract may be renewed for an additional one-year period.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at locations listed in Exhibit F within the San Jose District and Branch Offices.
