IFB Aerial Photography Services - San Diego and Imperial Counties

Background
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #11A4208 for Aerial Photography Services in San Diego and Imperial Counties. The purpose of this contract is to provide aerial photography services to support Caltrans' mission of ensuring a safe, sustainable, integrated, and efficient transportation system for California. The contractor will be responsible for providing an aircraft with licensed pilot(s) and a photographer to perform the required aerial photography.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services:

1. An aircraft with licensed pilot(s) and photographer for aerial photography in San Diego and Imperial Counties.

2. Specific tasks include providing aerial photography services per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for various locations including but not limited to:
- IMP-111 3.2/45.4
- SD-005 34.7/36.3
- SD-005 R37.4/R52.6
- SD-015 R31.3/R37.1
- SD-052 5.1/9
- SD-056 0.3/3
- Others as detailed in the bid proposal documents.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon execution of the agreement and is expected to continue until all services are completed as specified in the scope of work or until terminated by Caltrans.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in designated areas within San Diego and Imperial Counties.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid and current pilot’s license compliant with FAR regulations, including instrument rating and medical certificates. Bidders must also complete Attachment 3, Bidder’s Minimum Qualifications Worksheet to verify qualifications related to piloting and photography skills.
