IFB 4CA07646 - Waste Oil Removal and Disposal Services

Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) #4CA07646 for Waste Oil Removal and Disposal Services. The purpose of this contract is to ensure that CAL FIRE facilities are in full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local environmental laws and regulations regarding waste oil removal and disposal. The contractor will provide comprehensive services to remove hazardous waste oil and related materials from designated CAL FIRE facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees necessary for the following services:

1. Removal of hazardous waste oil and related materials from CAL FIRE facilities.
2. Transportation of waste oil to appropriate disposal sites.
3. Disposal services that comply with environmental regulations.
4. Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws regarding waste management.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a three-year term starting from the date of execution of the agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various CAL FIRE facilities within the Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit (TCU) in California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:

1. Must be licensed to do business in California.
2. Must have a current Hazardous Waste Transporter identification number from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
3. Must possess an active Motor Carrier Permit issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
4. Participation by certified Small Businesses (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) is encouraged but not mandatory; however, a DVBE incentive may apply.
