Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Snow Removal Services at the Gold Run Area Office. The CHP's mission is to ensure safety and security on California's highways. Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive snow removal services as outlined in Exhibit A, 'Scope of Work.' This includes clearing snow from designated areas, maintaining access routes, and ensuring safety during winter conditions. Specific tasks include plowing, salting, and sanding as necessary to keep roadways clear for CHP operations.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on July 1st, 2026, and will run through June 30th, 2029. Extensions may be granted based on performance and funding availability.

Services will be performed at the CHP Gold Run Area Office located at 50 Canyon Creek Rd., Gold Run, CA 95717.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a Local Business License and a valid California Driver’s License (Commercial Class B or higher). They must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as per California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773, and 1773.1. Corporations must certify good standing in California; non-profit organizations must provide proof of their status. Additionally, bidders must have a history of sound business integrity and responsiveness to contractual obligations.
