Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) #25C074001 for Vehicle Stripping Services. The CHP's mission is to ensure the safety and security of California's highways and to provide high-quality service to the public. Work Details
The contractor will provide vehicle stripping services, which include the removal of existing graphics, decals, and other markings from CHP vehicles. Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2025, and will run through June 30, 2027. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various CHP facilities across California as designated by the CHP.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified mechanics. They must certify their compliance with all terms outlined in the IFB and demonstrate good standing with California business regulations. Additionally, bidders are required to provide proof of liability insurance as specified in Exhibit E of the IFB.
