Description

The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms to provide HVAC Maintenance Services. Bids must address all services described in Exhibit A entitled, Scope of Work that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. 1. License Requirements: Contractor State License Board (CSLB) C-20 (Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor). 2. DIR Registration: Contractors and its subcontractors must be registered with the DIR Pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1. 3. DVBE Mandatory participation waived, incentive only.
Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for HVAC Maintenance Services to support their operations. The CHP aims to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of HVAC systems at their facilities, which is critical for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for staff and visitors. Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2028. The agreement may be extended based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed at the CHP Monterey Area Office located at 960 E. Blanco Road, Salinas, CA 93901.
