IFB 24C680001 HVAC Replacement Services - CHP El Cajon Area Office

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is seeking bids for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Replacement Services for the CHP El Cajon Area office. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.

Work Details
The services to be provided include HVAC replacement services as detailed in Exhibit A - Scope of Work. The resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of extensions. Bidders are required to view the job site before submitting a bid, and a mandatory walk-through will be held on May 29, 2024.
Bidders must meet qualification requirements including possessing a valid C-20 - Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license and being registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1770, 1773 and 1773.1.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with the possibility of extensions based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The HVAC replacement services will be performed at the El Cajon Area office located at 1722 East Main Street, El Cajon, CA 92021.
