IFB 24C646002 CHP Otay Mesa CVEF - Parking Lot Steam Cleaning Services

Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Parking Lot Steam Cleaning Services. The CHP invites prospective bidders to review and respond to the attached Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 24C646002 entitled, 'CHP Otay Mesa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF) – Parking Lot Steam Cleaning Services'. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.

Work Details
Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, 'Scope of Work' that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2027. The agreement term may change if CHP makes an award earlier than expected or if CHP cannot execute the agreement in a timely manner due to unforeseen delays.
The work will be performed at CHP Otay Mesa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility located at 2335 Enrico Fermi, San Diego, CA 92154.

Period of Performance
The resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2027. Agreement extensions are subject to satisfactory performance, funding availability, and possibly approval by Department of General Services (DGS).

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at CHP Otay Mesa Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility located at 2335 Enrico Fermi, San Diego, CA 92154.
